Become a Member

Join the network of 50,000 plus young people debating and taking action around our individual and collective roles in the world. We are a student-driven network, and there are lots of ways to get involved. These opportunities are open to new and seasoned AIDemocracy members alike.

  • Sign up for our list. The most basic way to get involved. We email our members with news and analysis of current ideas, training opportunities and ways to get started or get involved in campaigns.
  • Start a chapter on your campus! We’ll provide everything from easy event ideas to money for snacks. All you need is a passion for engaging your peers around the conversation of what the US role in the world should look like. Contact us to find out more.
  • Host an event. Both chapters and individual members have access to everything they need to host events, from a library of free films, to event ideas, to money for snacks. Visit our Take Action page to find out more.
  • Take on a leadership role. In 2011-2012 we will have over 30 leadership roles available for our most active members, primarily through our campaign teams.

  1. I am currently the Interim President and full time VP of the AASU-WSU (Arab American Student Union @ Wayne State University) and would really love to work with AIDemocracy in hope to continue to push the initiatives they have set forward.

    • Hi Hassan: We would love to work with you! We’ll contact you offline to discuss further. Lots of exciting stuff going on this year with Be2021 and our work on climate, food, security and health. Can’t wait to learn more about your group and what you’re interested in doing this year! Karen
