Allyson Goldsmith – Coordinator

speak-out-photo-edited Allyson Goldsmith is a graduate student in the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Policy at Syracuse University where she is simultaneously studying for a Masters of Public Administration and the Masters of Arts in International Relations.  She is currently the Global Campaign for Education, Intern at RESULTS in Washington D.C. and serves as the Food Security Campaign Coordinator for Americans for Informed Democracy.  Allyson spent the summer of 2011 as the Advocacy Intern in the Health Division for the International Organization for Migration in Geneva Switzerland.  She is the founder and Executive Director of ELEVEate, an NGO that presents girls in Senegal with an opportunity to attend secondary school by providing them with their birth certificate and access to educational support programs.  Allyson is a graduate of Brandeis University where she majored in Sociology, minored in both Politics and International and Global Studies, and served in leadership roles in various campus organizations and initiatives dedicated to reducing extreme poverty in the developing world.
