Reina Guerrero – Communications Guru

Reina graduated from Brandeis University in May 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Politics and History. Currently an employee of Georgetown University, she has spent many years as an advocate for causes that benefit the under privileged and is passionate about the issue of hunger. While a student at Brandeis, she worked as the Director of Fundraising for Positive Foundations, an organization dedicated to helping alleviate global poverty. In addition, being of Honduran decent, Reina spent many summers in Honduras and witnessed the effects of hunger first hand. Reina has also spent many Thanksgivings feeding the homeless at various churches in NYC. As the Communications Guru, Reina hopes to enhance her leadership skills and help others in any way possible. She is looking forward to utilizing social media and encouraging students to become passionate about promoting social change.
