| Setting Up An AID Chapter | ||||
We’re excited you want to set up a chapter on campus! Setting up a chapter of Americans for Informed Democracy on your campus is easy when you use our Chapter Set Up Guide! The first thing you should do after downloading our chapter setup guide is give us a call at 410-962-8770 and ask for Autumn, our chapter setup specialist! She is excited to talk with you about the process of setting up a chapter and can give the tips you’ll need to make it a quick and easy process! She can also send you a list of all the students currently on our listserv from your university. These students are often excited to work with others on their campus to help set up a chapter. You can also e-mail autumn@aidemocracy.org with the words “Chapter Setup” in the subject line to propose a specific time to speak. AID will also provide you with a $100 mini-grant as soon as you register as a chapter-in-progress for your Steering Committee Meeting and First Organizational Meeting (- which are described in the chapter setup guide! -) so that you can serve food at the meetings – i.e. so you can offer students on your campus an extra incentive to be there! Get started by downloading our Chapter Setup Guide. Read more about why to establish an AID chapter. |
