Get Involved in 2012!

Americans for Informed Democracy is a network of over 40,000 young people talking about and taking action around US global engagement.

We need you! As a network, we are dependent upon the skills and energies of our members to make things happen. In the fall of 2012, our student members contributed over 2000 hours to make our work happen. Amazing!

There are lots of ways to get involved in 2012, including:

  • Share your skills! We are always in urgent need of people to help with communications, new media, marketing, fundraising, technology and more. Contact Karen at karen@aidemocracy.org if you have skills if you have some time to help out.
  • Join a campaign team working on climate, hunger, health or security. We have over 30 leadership roles available on our student-directed teams, working around the most pressing issues facing us today. Find out more.
  • Blog about your experiences abroad, or how global issues affect your community. Check out our What’s it to Me? and Bringing the World Home blog series.

Other ideas? Contact Karen at karen@aidemocracy.org to discuss other ways to get involved.
