Favorite part of Global Scholar: I would have to say the revitalizing discussions with fellow youth and the ability to debate and learn all at once, which I felt beforehand was unachievable. And the food was superb!

Wants to travel to: In the next 2 years: Kashmir, Somalia and back to Cambodia. Who knows where afterwards?

Favorite part of Global Scholar: I loved meeting amazing people and learning so much about current issues through discussions. Politics used to bore me, but Global Scholar made me see them in a different light.

Global issue of most interest: I'm interested in many global issues, particularly the HIV/AIDS pandemic and youth education worldwide. I believe that education is the key to solving many other global issues like child exploitation, poverty, and child labor.

Favorite part of Global Scholar: Definitely the friends I made! Though the ice cream shop and the movie theatre were close seconds. It was all so great actually that I can't pick a single highlight. Even if it was the third lecture that day I had a blast and learned alot!

Global issue of most interest: The history behind the conflicts in the middle east. In school we get such a limited view of what is really happening in these countries, it was really great hearing first hand accounts and a more in depth history of the issues.

Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Acting, Hanging out with friends, Singing off key with the radio, Girl Scouts, Being a second semester senior, Keeping in touch with all the amazing people I met at Global Scholar.
