Americans for Informed Democracy Honors Young Patriot

Americans for Informed Democracy, an educational organization that raises awareness in the U.S. about world opinions of American foreign policy, has honored Darin B. Kingston of Hartford with its Young Patriot Award.

Kingston, a student at Brown University in Providence, participated in a "Bringing the World Home" retreat in Peacham, Vt., aimed at raising global awareness on university campuses.

Kingston is managing editor at The Brown Journal of World Affairs and is working on an honors thesis comparing France and Germany's cultural and political responses to their growing Muslim populations.
