UWGB will hold Citizen Diplomacy Summit

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will host its first Citizen Diplomacy Summit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Phoenix rooms of UWGB's University Union.
The event is aimed at K-12 and postsecondary educators, students, business leaders and others who are interested in international issues and events.
Onsite registration runs from 9 until 10 a.m. Saturday. Same-day tickets are $8, which covers activities, lunch, materials and refreshments.
The summit will feature presentations by representatives of national organizations, including Americans for Informed Democracy, Business for Diplomatic Action, Citizens for Global Solutions and the U.S. Global Leadership Campaign.
Summit offerings will include:
Opportunities to learn about diplomacy trends and approaches
Exhibits featuring school and community international projects
Materials and resources for educators and others who have global interests
Networking opportunities
Saturday's summit will coincide with UWGB's second annual High School International Exchange Student Conference. Event participants will be able to talk with students from around the world.
