Tim Ruckh

co-springs-wedding Tim Ruckh is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital, in the Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging. His research area is in biomaterial design and tissue engineering, working primarily with synthetic nano-materials. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and then earned his Master’s and Ph.D degrees from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. Tim began working with AID after studying in Lancaster, UK in the Fall of 2004 and then attending an AID summit in Berlin in December 2004. He started an AID chapter at Colorado State University in 2005, earning AID’s Young Leader award that year, and served as chapter president until 2007. At the beginning of 2006, Tim joined the AID board of directors and has been an active board member ever since.
